Auto-Climb the Spires, summon Legendary Invokers, and maximize your progress with new Quests!

This update's mostly focused on new quality-of-life features, along with a huge rebalance to bring Damage-over-Time teams and Direct-Damage teams more in line with each other. Here's everything we've got for you:

AUTO-CLIMB THE SPIRES

A lot of you asked for this, so we've added it!

You can now set your Spires teams to automatically ascend and attempt the next Floors, without having to lift a finger – as long as you have the Keys to do so.

There's not much to say – it's pretty self-explanatory: but this should make it far easier and quicker to climb the Spires every day.

Auto-Climb unlocks after Floor 5 in each Spire.

BONUS QUESTS AND MORE

  • Bonus Quests. We've added Daily Bonus Quests for those of you that want even faster progress. Bonus Quests aren't required to complete your Weekly and Monthly Quests, but offer valuable rewards for those of you that want them. Totally optional, totally free.

    • Bonus Quests unlock at Level 10.

 

  • Progress Quests. We've added more Pages of Progress! Complete Pages 33-41 to grab some piles and piles of awesome rewards.

 

  • Adaptive Weekly & Monthly Quests. We've made Weekly and Monthly Quests adapt to your Player Level to make them easier for newer players to complete and grab those much-needed rewards. Depending on your Player Level, the completion requirements for Quests will change, with three tiers available: Player Levels 1-10, 11-20, and 20+.

    • We have noticed a bug where in Monthly Quests, players who have completed 20-29 Daily Quests may see an error message when trying to complete this Quest, as we've reduced the number of Daily Quests you need to complete from 30 to 20. Simply complete another Daily Quest and this Monthly Quest will be complete.

 

  • Daily Quests: The Quest to fight 1 Boss Battle unlocks at Player Level 8. The Quest to fight 1 Battle in the Spires unlocks at Player Level 6.

 

  • Improved Summon Achievements: We've improved the rewards you get for completing certain Summon Achievements. Essentially, we've swapped out a bunch of Fate Stars and Dream Orbs for Destiny Stars and Wonder Orbs. Here's the full list:
    • Summon X Earth, Water, Wind, or Fire Invokers -> Fate Stars swapped to Destiny Stars after summoning 500 Invokers.
    • Summon X Titans -> Dream Orbs swapped to Wonder Orbs after summoning 10 Titans.
    • Summon X Rare Invokers -> Fate Stars swapped to Destiny Stars after summoning 10 Rare Invokers.
    • Summon X Epic Invokers -> Fate Stars swapped to Destiny Stars after summoning 5 Epic Invokers.
    • Summon X Rare Titans -> Dream Orbs swapped to Wonder Orbs after summoning 20 Rare Titans.
    • Summon X Epic Titans -> Dream Orbs swapped to Wonder Orbs after summoning 5 Epic Titans.

EXTENDED DAILY LOGIN REWARDS

Get a free Legendary Invoker just from logging in every day – we've extended Daily Login Rewards up to Day 180, along with a few more changes. Here's the list:

  • Day 120: Get Epic Magi Invoker, Sarienne.

  • Day 150: Get Epic Freeborn Zalasi.

  • Day 180: Get a FREE Legendary Invoker – the awesome Kingpin Tatsulow.

  • Day 7: Zenneris has been replaced by Pyla the Fumebanner.

  • Day 60: Tenso has been replaced by Grovewarden Sethisal.

STRONGER AWAKENING BONUSES

When Awakening Invokers, Soul Signs now grant approximately 2-3x the previous amount of Accuracy, along with Resistance and Instinct.

This should help everyone meet the Accuracy and Resistance requirements for Bosses, making runs more consistent – particularly on Auto, combined with the extra Instinct boost.

COMMUNITY SUGGESTIONS IMPLEMENTED

 Thanks to all of you in the Invokers community, we've already implemented some of the features you've requested recently.

GEAR REIMBURSEMENT

  • Whenever you Sell or Crush Relics that you have upgraded, you'll now receive 20% of the Gold or Memorium used to upgrade it in return. 

FILTER OUT UPGRADED RELICS

  • A common request, we've added a filter to “Show Only Unupgraded” Relics. Now your thumbs can get some rest!

CHANGED “GET ALL CHESTS” REQUIREMENT

  • We've changed the Campaign Star requirements for the “All Chests” star challenge in the Campaign so you no longer need to use a team of 4 Invokers. Now, it's just “get the Chests, beat the Level". Simple.

MASS DISMISSAL!

  • Added a one-tap “Select All” button when Dismissing Invokers – and it works when Filtering.

ASCENSION CONFIRMATION

  • We've added a confirmation popup that appears when you try to Ascend Common or Uncommon Invokers to 6★. No more accidental Ascension!

NEW PAUSE MENU 

We've massively overhauled the Pause Menu – just hit Pause to see level tips, Boss Skills and strategy, Reward and Drop Info, and much more.

CHAPTER 9 COMPLETE

We've added the remaining Levels to Campaign Chapter 9. We've completed it – now you can.

Go clear the remaining Levels, then go take on Sakiel to complete the Campaign.

REDESIGNED RELIC BOSS OVERVIEW

We've redesigned the screen you see before fighting any Relic Boss (such as Ulgorim or Althar). 

Now you can see the exact chances of getting each Rarity and Rank of Relic, for each Boss Stage. No more trying to figure out the odds yourselves – we've put it right there, for you.

We've also added a ton of quality-of-life features and other miscellaneous changes:

GEAR

  • Fixed the Skill SPD and Combo SPD Filters.

  • Gear Preview no longer resets after applying Filters.

  • Adjusted the Relic display order in your Inventory, based on Campaign Drops & Bosses.

  • Fixed an error that appeared when previewing a Relic that was already equipped on a different Invoker.

COLLECTION & INDEX

  • One-Time Legendary Guarantee: This a one-time Legendary Guarantee specifically for players who have not summoned ANY Legendary Invokers from Destiny Stars. Every new player is guaranteed a Legendary Invoker on their 50th Destiny Star (if they haven't summoned one by then).  After anyone gets it, they will continue with the normal Legendary Guarantee every 190 Destiny Stars.

    • Note: While this is primarily to help new players, we're also enabling it today, for this update, for all existing players as well!

      • Current players that have gone fewer than 50 Destiny Stars without a Legendary will get a Legendary Invoker on their 50th Destiny Star.

      • Current players that have summoned more than 50 Destiny Stars without a Legendary will get a Legendary Invoker on their next Destiny Star summon.

    • The normal 190-Star Legendary Guarantee from Destiny Stars will run alongside this one. If you summon a Legendary Invoker from the One-Time Legendary Guarantee, it will disappear and the 190-Star counter will be reset.

  • Filters when selecting multiple Tolerances will now function as though you are selecting Tolerance A and Tolerance B, not A OR B.

  • Selecting “Show Max Stats” in the Index now includes all Awakening Stats.

BATTLE

  • The Taunt debuff now functions for all Invokers with the debuff. 

    • Taunted enemies can only target the caster of the Taunt when attacking, and only use their Combo Attacks.

    • If you find yourself Taunted by an enemy, you'll be able to move around freely while under the Taunt debuff – but if you try to attack, you'll automatically run to the enemy that Taunted you and unleash… a not-so-deadly Combo Attack.

    • Reminder that Bosses are immune to Taunt, so don't think you can get them just using their Combo Attacks!
  • We've redesigned the Multi-Battle Setup Window.

  • Added Screen Lock to Multi-Battle. Now you can throw your phone in your pocket and keep Multi-Battling without fear of pocket-dialing the “Stop” button.

  • The Group Up button in-Battle now unlocks after reaching Chapter 4.

  • Shatter-on-Death. For a bit of fun, whenever an enemy (or you, for that matter!) is defeated while frozen, under a Freeze debuff, they'll shatter into tiny little pieces. It's very satisfying, trust me. Go see for yourself.

  • We've improved the AI for Titan Invokation when playing in Auto Mode against Bosses, so you'll no longer see your team Invoking Titans when Pentiax is flying out of the arena or when Omnissi is under or about to activate her Shield!

OTHER

  • Playtime Rewards now give 50 Energy instead of 100. More Energy is available through Bonus Quests, simply from playing and using your other Energy.

  • A Skip button has been added to the start of the Summoning animation – in case you want to stop yourself from seeing awesome things.

  • We've increased the Player Level limit from 60 to 100. 

And now for the bug fixes! Here's what's been fixed:

FIXES AND OPTIMIZATIONS

  • Fixed lag / stuttering during Team Selection

  • Fixed black texture bug on environments and Invokers

  • Fixed a bug when an Invoker’s power would not display correctly and would require reopening the Collection to fix

  • Fixed a bug on Page 26 of Progress Quests, where the “Complete Chapter 3 on Insane” Quest would be completed before the player had cleared the Chapter

  • Fixed Rune drop bugs on Hard 7.10 and Insane 2.10 which resulted in the Rune drops shown during the Stage and Rune drops shown in the Battle Results screen to not match up

  • Fixed a bug in Hard 9.5 where players would see repeated cutscenes when replaying the Level

  • Fixed a bug in Insane 6.2 where Kingpin Tatsulow would be unable to board an elevator

  • Fixed a bug on Insane 3.9 where gates would close before Invokers had passed through them, blocking their progress

  • Fixed a bug where the Ancient Beastblood Rune count in the Multi-Battle Results screen would mismatch the number in your Inventory.
  • Fixed a bug that caused your team to appear outside the bounds of the level when leaving the game on Auto.
  • Fixed a bug where Solnor’s Ultimate Mana would fill too quickly during periods of intense combat

    • We know Solnor’s a master of growth and decay, but throwing out Ultimates like a machine gun was definitely overkill.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the wrong Titan Bound Effect to be displayed in the Battle Report
  • Fixed a visual bug where specific purchase buttons in the in-game Shop would display as green instead of yellow

Balance changes! We’ve got a lot this patch, so let’s break it down:

BLEED & BURN CHANGES

First up, we've decreased the strength of Bleed and Burn debuffs to bring their strength more in-line with standard Direct-Damage skills against higher HP targets, such as bosses.

This is a broad-scale rebalance that affects every Invoker and Titan with Bleed and Burn in their Skills. You can read every single change via our full, detailed rebalance post, so here's an overview of the changes for now.

Understanding Bleeds and Burns: when casting a Burn or Bleed debuff on an enemy, the damage those debuffs inflict on the target is limited by two things:

  • The indicated Bleed and Burn damage per tick (such as 4% of the Target's MAX HP)
  • The caster's personal Bleed/Burn Damage Limit, according to the caster's ATK or other Stat (for example, Dusca's Bleed Damage Limit was 1000% ATK).

  • Bleeds and Burns would never deal more damage per tick than either of these two values.

We have adjusted both of those values, along with other changes:

  1. Decreased the damage values of Bleed and Burn per tick. Previously, Bleeds and Burns dealt approximately ~4-5% of the target's MAX HP per tick. That is now being changed to 1.5%.

  2. Decreased the caster's Bleed/Burn Damage Limit, typically decided by their Rarity.

    • Rare Invokers & Titans

      • Previous limit ranged from ~400%-600% ATK.

      • It will now be 150%-300% ATK.

    • Epic Invokers & Titans

      • Previous limit ranged from ~500%-800% ATK.

      • It will now be 200%-400% ATK.

    • Legendary Invokers & Titans

      • Previous limit ranged from ~500%-1000% ATK.

      • It will now be 200%-500% ATK.

  3. Many of the strongest Burn Skills also dealt Direct-Damage at a similar power to those Direct-Damage Invokers – meaning they often dealt the similar damage from the attack itself, but ALSO unleashed devastating Bleeds and Burns in addition.

    • We've decreased the damage multipliers of those Skills that dealt Direct Damage and cast Bleed and Burn. This is on an Invoker-by-Invoker and Skill-by-Skill basis, but expect them to deal around 50% less damage.

  4. We’ve increased the standard radius of the AoE Damage from Burn debuffs from 3m to 6m.

    • Note: This change doesn’t affect Brandis’ Brand Heresy Skill, where she casts a Burn on herself.

These are significant changes, with the aim being to help balance the game so that both Direct-Damage and Damage-over-Time teams are balanced and viable in key Boss battles.

We've also made adjustments to all Bosses in the game (some minor, some major!) to help consolidate these balance changes – and basically make them easier to beat.

  • IMPORTANT: We know these are major changes, and we know some of you have already spent a lot of time and effort building Bleed and Burn teams. These changes do not make those teams non-viable, and your effort is not wasted – they are still very strong (you might just need to improve your Relic quality a little to continue grinding the same Stages!).

  • We ask that you give the update some time – to play, explore, and test your teams (both old and new!) before sharing feedback over on our Discord.

We appreciate everyone helping us develop and improve our game at such an early stage in development. For those of you that have been around for a while, and might need a few items to help kick-start some new team exploration – we're sending you a gift in-game!

This Pack should be free in the Shop to anyone who's over Level 25 when this update went live. It will be available for 1 week from the update's launch, so don't delay!

Deepdrill Gemm

Fixed a text error relating to the DEF Down debuff cast by her Ultimate Skill, Drill Down. It now shows the correct (and higher) number.

Mulla

Fixed an issue that didn’t allow you to upgrade her Ultimate Skill, Never Go Down.

Nirvelle the Soulraiser

Increased the base HP% on her Ultimate Skill, Soulraiser, from reviving an ally at 8% HP to 15% HP at Level 1. 

Now revives an ally at 35% when fully upgraded.

Judicator Kalista

Added level-up scaling to the duration of the Taunt applied by her Ultimate Skill, Divine Retribution.

Atanna the Convincer

Added level-up scaling to the duration of the Taunt applied by her Skill 3, Command Attention.

Kollodon the Summit

Fixed an issue where hitting his Combo Attack 5 on a target under a control debuff didn’t reduce the cooldown of his Skill 2, Ancestral Wardens

Sanctus the Valiant

Added additional scaling to the Shields applied by his Skill 1 and Ultimate – they now scale based on his HP and damage dealt by the Skill

Aratax the Iron Nightmare

Changed Aratax’s Bound Effect from increasing Skill SPD to increasing Combo SPD.
