This is a small update, but an important one – Fusion is here! – alongside new Invokers, Quick Ascension, and more.
FUSION
Fusion is this update's headline feature, something many of you have been requesting for a while!
Fusions allows you to fuse multiple lower-Rarity Invokers into more powerful, higher-Rarity ones – including 2 awesome Legendary Invokers, and many hard-to-get Light and Dark Invokers.
Fusions are a great way for players to get their hands on key Invokers that help beat certain Bosses or challenges.
Here's how they work:
There are limits to how many times each Invoker can be Fused, according to their Rarity.
Legendary & Epics: 1 Time each
Rare: Unlimited
Note: You can Fuse Epics used towards Legendary Fusions 2 times each – so you can keep one, and use the other towards Fusing a Legendary
Awakening: You only need to REACH the Awakening Star shown — which means unlocking the main Awakening Node for the Awakening ★ required.
- For clarity, this means that for a an Invoker that requires 3★ Awakening, you don’t need to unlock every 3★ Node — just the first one that gives you the third purple Awakening Star. If you plan to use an Invoker for Fusion, don’t waste your resources!
QUICK ASCENSION
Many of you asked for a quicker way to level up and Ascend your Invokers, so we made it happen.
When Ascending Invokers, you'll see or be prompted to use Quick Ascend – which will open an Ascension ladder that lets you Level Up and Ascend multiple Invokers right there in a single interface, in just a few taps.
We've also added some of quality-of-life features and other changes:
BATTLE
Smarter Healing: When using AoE heal Skills, Invokers will now move closer to their team, to maximize the number of allies it will affect.
Fear Fix: Fixed a bug that allowed you to override the random movement of Fear debuffs by spamming tap-to-move, Group Up, and Dash.
Titan Invokation Order Fix: Invokation Order will remain in the intended order as long as their bound Invoker is alive at the time – even if one or more Invokers are killed and revived at any point during battle.
- The fix relating to Invokation Order in Multi-Battles will come in a future update.
- Lead Invoker in Arena. Your Lead Invoker should now be saved correctly in the Arena.
QUESTS
Achievements: As requested by some of you in Discord, we've added new Achievements for Ascending Invokers to 6★ for the first time (the first 10 times, actually!) with Codex rewards.
Note that these Achievements are not retroactive. If you already have multiple 6★ Invokers, you'll complete these Achievements as you Ascend your next ones.
INVOKER REBALANCE
Roddin the Spelunker: His Ultimate Skill, Pulverizer Pick, gained a new debuff – Mindworm – which blocks the target's Passive Skills from activating.
Valentu the Devoted: Active Skill 3, Haunted Rebuke, gained a new debuff – Mindworm.
Ivory the Beastseeker: Active Skill 1, Beast Calmer, gained a new debuff – Mindworm.
- Asprill the Enshrined. Active Skill 1, Sentinel Crash, now casts the Unkillable buff on the ally with the lowest HP, not a random ally.
- Shredripper Matescu. Active Skill 1, Miserichord, now increases the damage at Max Level by from 286% ATK to 305% ATK.
- Elder King Thalbrennar. Active Skill 2, Crush Dissent, targeting fixed. Now casts the Crit Rate Up buff on Thalbrennar, not the target.
MISCELLANEOUS
Energy Refresh Fix: Energy will now refill correctly and instantly at Daily Refresh if you are currently online. We've also fixed a bug that caused you to “lose out” on Energy if you manually refilled Energy or claimed Energy Refills without reloading your current UI before/after Refresh.
Map Optimization: Improved performance when reopening the Map.
- Daily Login Reward Invokers. Tapping their icon in the Login Rewards window will show their Stats and Skills in the Index.
- Fixed a bug that caused Titan icons to disappear sometimes, causing you to unable to invoke Titans.
- Fixed a bug in the Yskara fight that meant Invokers wouldn't attack the Shards, but would mostly hang out in the center of the arena, vibing out instead of fighting.
KOLTMOS
- Added a Countdown Timer for the Doomclaws, indicating how long until Koltmos will absorb their power. Never lose track of the fight again!
SAKIEL
Sakiel and Demon Sakiel's Active Skill 1's have gained a new effect: Removes 2 random debuffs from Sakiel.
Sakiel's Soul Corruption Passive has been removed.
Sakiel's Dark Chance Passive and Demon Sakiel's Dark Promise Passive gained new effects.
Decreases the cooldown of a random Active Skill on Sakiel by Ns every time a [Burn] or [Bleed] debuff ticks on Sakiel. Sakiel takes 50% less damage from [Burn] and [Bleed] debuffs.
The cooldown reduction differs by Stage:
Stages 1-7: 1s
Stages 8-13: 2s
Stages 14+: 3s
This puts Sakiel's damage reduction to DoTs on the same level as Pentiax, who feels very balanced right now.
Active Skill 4, Fallen Blades, has had the description fixed. Previously it stated that Stunning Sakiel would break this channel, but this was broken. We've updated the description so that it's no longer misleading.
In addition to the above, Sakiel's Stats have been updated. Since Update 0.55 was only a week or so ago, we'll show you how Sakiel's Stats have been adjusted per Stage from 0.54 to 0.55, and now to 0.56.
As you can see, there's been a significant decrease in Sakiel's MAX HP and ATK in almost every Stage – especially when compounding the changes across both updates.
YSKARA
Yskara has seen a slight rework to make battles quicker – but with deadlier minions. Here's what's changed:
- Killing Yskara now damages the Heart of Ice by 10% of its MAX HP every time.
Decreased Yskara's ATK on all Stages.
Yskara's respawn timer has now changed to 30s (previously 25s).
Slightly increased the HP of enemy Shards
Increased the ATK and HP of enemy minions.
