Omnissi (DARK) – The Elemental Garuda
OVERVIEW
While Omnissi shares some skills across each Element, there are also unique mechanics to overcome to master each version.
Dark Omnissi centres around two things:
First, she doesn’t want you to have any buffs. Her Combo Attack will decrease the durations of all buffs on a single target by 3 seconds, while her first Skill, Falling Eclipse, removes 1 buff from every member of your team.
Second, her special Passive reflects 55% of ALL the damage the Garuda receives from Active Skills back to the attacker — meaning you'll constantly be damaging yourself with all your Active Skills.
This sounds bad, but you can mitigate this passive by bringing the right debuffs. If Dark Omnissi has a Decrease Combo Speed debuff on her, then her passive will be disabled — she will no longer reflect damage back at your team.
This Passive alone decides how you should approach this battle. Ignore it, and you’ll slowly (or quickly) take your own team out through your Active Skills alone. You’ll need to bring one or more Invokers that can cast Decrease Combo Speed debuffs to win this fight — or someone to extend the debuff to ensure high uptime. If the debuff drops for even a few seconds, you’re in trouble again.
DO
✓ Bring Combo SPD Down.
✓ Bring Invokers that can extend debuff duration.
✓ Make sure you have enough ACC to land these key debuffs consistently.
DON'T
✕ Forget Combo SPD Down. Seriously, we can't let that slide.
✕ Rely on Skills that deal enemy MAX HP-based damage.
✕ Try to rely on buffs to keep you alive. You're going to lose them.
SKILL BREAKDOWN
Each version of Omnissi shares most of their Skills, but they do have a few key differences and unique skills.
Each version of Omnissi has:
A unique Combo Attack #1
A unique Skill 1
A unique Passive Skill
These are the main differences that you need to know to help build your team to counter each version – the rest of the Skills are identical across every Element, aside from the Corruptions, which change for each one.
We'll start off by going over the three unique Skills that define the fight.
Dark Mirror [Passive]
Reflects 55% of all incoming damage from Active Skills back to the attacker. Does not work if Omnissi is under a [Combo SPD Down] debuff.
TIP #1: Bring Invokers with Combo SPD Down. Every time you damage Omnissi through Active Skills, a good chunk of that damage is coming right back at you. Ensuring maximum uptime of Combo SPD Down will make your life easier, which means multiple sources of the debuff, or also bringing Invokers that can extend the duration of the debuff when it's up.
TIP #2: Skills that deal damage based on enemy MAX HP can insta-kill you. Omnissi has very high HP (much higher than your team), and 55% of damage dealt based on that incredible HP will come right back at your Invokers.
TIP #3: The reflection includes all damage from Active Skills, but does not include MAX HP Damage from Burns and Bleeds. It's a pretty safe way to output a lot of damage.
TIP #4: When relying on debuff extenders to maximize the uptime of the Combo SPD Down debuff, make sure you don't waste the Skill that extends debuffs. Taking manual control can help make sure you use that Skill when the Combo SPD debuff is up.
TIP #5: Using offensive buffs (such as ATK Up) doesn't work as well against Dark Omnissi as it does against other bosses. The more you hurt her, the more she hurts you. On the flipside, it might sound like a good idea to try and use protective buffs, like Invincibility or Strengthen, to block the reflected damage – but Omnissi's Combo Attack and first Skill, Falling Eclipse, put a stop to that idea…
Combo Attack #1
Attacks 1 enemy, dealing N damage. Decreases the duration of all buffs on the target by 3s.
TIP #1: This isn't especially complicated, but if you were hoping to block the reflected damage from Omnissi's Dark Mirror Passive, this makes it much harder to do so. Dark Omnissi will use this attack constantly throughout the battle, making it very hard to keep your team buffed up.
Skill 1 – Falling Eclipse
Targets 3 random enemies in a 30m radius, tracking them for 1.9s. Then, creates a 4m radius AoE zone around the targets, dealing N damage to all enemies in the area. Each hit removes 1 random buff from the target.
Each hit casts 1 stack of Manaburn Corruption on each target. The Manaburn Corruption ticks 1 time every 10s. Each tick damages the target by 0.5% of their MAX HP. Each stack of Manaburn Corruption decreases the target's Mana Gen by 3%.
TIP #1: This attack is unavoidable for at least 3 of your team – but it's also going to hurt everyone else in the area. You can spread out to reduce damage, but you'll need to ensure you have a good amount of Manaburn Tolerance to minimize the damage.
This Skill also removes a buff from each of the initial 3 targets. Combine this with her Combo Attack, and it makes it very hard to rely on buffs to protect you (or take down Dark Omnissi faster) throughout the fight.
Combo Attack #2
Attacks all enemies in the arena, dealing N damage per hit.
Combo Attack #3
Attacks 1 enemy, dealing N damage.
Combo Attack #4
Attacks all enemies in a 5m radius, dealing N damage per hit.
Skill 2 – Paths of the Penumbra
Divides the arena into 3 zones, then creates Penumbral Waves that fill the zones one by one, in random order.
Each Wave takes 2.9s to charge, dealing N damage to all enemies in the area.
Each hit casts Manashock Corruption on each target, lasting 15s. Manashock Corruption instantly decreases the target's Ultimate Mana by 50%.
TIP #1: Move. This Skill is scary, but thankfully you are able to avoid it and get out of the way. If you get hit, not only do you take insane damage, but you also end up on the wrong end of a long-lasting stun from Manacrush Corruption.
TIP #2: Use the Group Up button to huddle your team together and ensure they get out of the way. Relying on your team's Instinct here is never going to be as reliable as doing it yourself.
Skill 3 – Hunt of the Dark
Dives through an 8x20m path, towards the furthest enemy in a 15m radius, damaging each enemy hit, dealing N damage per hit. Launches each target in the air for Ns, launching them Nm away.
TIP #1: Once again, get out of the way. This is a long-lasting launch that pushes you backwards, along with some serious damage. The saving grace is that you can actually avoid it entirely – if you're on your toes.
Skill 4 – Shimmer of the Void
Casts a [Shield] buff on Omnissi, equal to 30% of her MAX HP, lasting 10s.
Then, Omnissi channels. While channeling, continuously hails Void Rain, attacking all enemies in the arena, dealing N damage per hit. Void Rain will fall on each enemy 3 times every 2s.
Channeling will be interrupted when Omnissi loses 10% of her MAX HP.
TIP #1: Unleash everything you have to stop the Skill as soon as possible. Here, Omnissi will continue to channel until one of two things happens: either your whole team dies, or you manage to deal enough damage to her. This is a pretty hard damage-check for your team – if you don't have enough DPS to shut this down quickly, you're done.
CORRUPTIONS
The Dark version of Omnissi has two Corruptions: one Damage Corruption (Manaburn), and one Control Corruption (Manashock).
Each of Dark Omnissi's attacks will deal extra damage as Manaburn Damage, which is not decreased by your Invokers’ DEF Stat.
DAMAGE CORRUPTION – MANABURN

Manaburn Corruption
Each stack of Manaburn damages the target by a percentage of their MAX HP every tick. Each stack also decreases the target's Mana Gen. Infinite duration.
Manaburn Tolerance
Manaburn Corruption is a damage-over-time effect that damages the recipient by a percentage of their MAX HP every tick. It also decreases the target's Mana Gen by a certain percentage. Manaburn Corruption has an infinite duration and cannot be removed. Manaburn Corruption stacks additively, so each stack of Manaburn directly increases the damage per tick along with the Mana Gen reduction.
Bosses with Manaburn Corruption also deal direct Manaburn damage from their Skills, in addition to their regular damage. Direct Manaburn damage ignores the target's DEF stat, and can only be decreased by the target's Manaburn Tolerance.
Increasing an Invoker's Manaburn Tolerance will decrease all Manaburn damage by the Invoker's Tolerance percentage, along with decreasing the effects of the Mana Gen reduction.
CONTROL CORRUPTION – MANASHOCK

Manashock Corruption
Stuns the target, making them unable to move or use Skills. Decreases all Ultimate and Titan Mana gained by 50%.
Manashock Tolerance
Manashock Corruption stuns the target, while also decreasing the amount of Ultimate and Titan Mana the target gains from any source.
This can massively decrease the effectiveness of a Support Invoker whose job it is to generate Mana for their team, as even if they have high Manashock Tolerance themselves, their power is greatly decreased if their teammates only receive 50% of the Mana they generate.
Increasing an Invoker's Manashock Tolerance decreases the duration of Manashock and its effects by the Invoker's Tolerance percentage, reducing the duration of the stun and decreasing the Mana gain penalty.
