OVERVIEW

Invokers can invoke Titans during battle, temporarily transforming into them to unleash devastating power.

INVOKERS AND TITANS

Just like Invokers, Titans belong to a Faction.

Invokers can only use Titans from their own Faction – with one exception, Dragon Titans.

Dragons belong to a special Titan Faction; they are universal, and can be used by any Invoker from any Faction.

TITANS IN BATTLE

TITAN MANA

Your team will generate Titan Mana alongside Ultimate Mana when they use their Combo Attacks and Skills during combat.

Using Skills outside of combat (like after you clear all the enemies in the area) will not generate either Ultimate Mana or Titan Mana.

Important! Even though each Invoker generates Titan Mana individually, it goes into a pool that is shared by the whole team. When a Titan is Invoked, Titan Mana is spent from the whole team's supply.

This is different to Ultimate Mana, where each Invoker has their own, individual pool.

TITAN MANA METER

Your Titan Meter is displayed at the bottom of your screen during battle.

When your team has enough Titan Mana, it's Invokation Time: Titan Cards will appear at the bottom of your screen.

Hit the Card and that Invoker will Invoke their Titan – even if you're not controlling them at the time.

Meter Overflow. It's not always the right time to Invoke a Titan – if it's four Invokers against a single straggling Goblin, you might want to hold your Titans for later. Don't worry, your Titan Mana Meter has an overflow; you'll still be able to generate and store Titan Mana without wasting it.

Pro Tip: Increasing Mana Gen affects both Ultimate and Titan Mana. Higher Mana Gen means you'll be able to Invoke Titans more frequently in-battle, which is one of the best ways to increase your team's damage output.

INVOKATION LIMIT

You can only Invoke one Titan at a time during battle.

INVOKATION DURATION

By default, whenever a Titan is Invoked during battle, Titan Invokation Time lasts 12 seconds

After 12 seconds, Invokation will end and the Titan will transform back into the Invoker.

Each Titan has their own cooldown – 180 seconds – before they can be Invoked again. This cooldown starts after the Invokation ends, not when it starts.

Make sure each Invoker in your team has a Titan bound to them to maximize your Titans’ impact in battle.

Pro Tip #1. You can increase Titan Invokation Time by Awakening your Invokers. At 2★, 4★, and 6★ Awakening, each Invoker will have an Invokation Node. Each one will increase the duration of Invokation Time by 1s. It doesn't sound like much, but increasing Invokation time from 12 to 15 seconds means a huge, huge increase in damage output for a Titan.

Pro Tip #2. An Invoker's Skill Cooldowns will continue to count down as normal even while they are currently in Titan form.

Pro Tip #3. Any Buffs and Debuffs on the Invoker (or Titan) at the time of Invokation or Invokation End will carry through and continue. Invoking a Titan isn't a quick way to cleanse pesky debuffs.

Pro Tip #4. Titans don't generate any Ultimate Mana for their Invoker or Titan Mana for their team.

INVOKATION EFFECTS

Each Titan has a unique Invokation Effect, which has two parts:

  • Invokation: Whenever a Titan is Invoked in-battle, a powerful Invokation effect occurs. This is usually a huge AoE ability that affects all the enemies or allies around them.

  • Invokation End: When the Invokation ends and the Titan transforms back into their Invoker, a second powerful effect occurs. This is typically a big buff or heal to the Invoker the Titan is bound to, giving them a massive boost when they come back into the fight.

You can upgrade Invokation Effects just like regular Titan Skills, with Prisms and Gold.

TITAN STATS

INVOKED TITAN STATS

When you use a Titan in-battle, its Stats are based on the Invoker they are bound to. The better the Invoker's Stats, the better the Titan's.

Titans have three types of Stats:

  • Percentage Stats: These percentages are added to the Invoker's Base Stats (excluding any Stat boosts the Invoker has from Relics or other sources). As the Titan levels up, these Stats increase.

  • Flat Stats: These are integer stats (raw numbers) that are added on top, after all other Stats have been calculated. As the Titan levels up, these Stats increase.

  • Titan Class Bonus Stat. There are two Classes of Titan: Tank and Attack. Depending on the Class, the Titan will either have a DEF% or Crit Rate% Bonus Stat. The number depends on the Rarity of the Titan and does not increase as the Titan levels up.

NOTE: This is the current system and will soon be changed, along with an improved UI to clarify the functionality. We are removing the static Titan Class Bonus Stat – it will function like all other stats and increase as the Titan levels up.

TITAN CLASS STATS

There are two Classes of Titan: Tank and Attack, each with different percentage-based Stats.

  • Tank Titans have: Invoker HP%, DEF%, and ATK%

  • Attack Titans have: Invoker Crit Rate%, Crit DMG%, and ATK%.

Both Classes have HP, DEF, and ATK as flat Stats.

BOUND EFFECT

Titans also increase the Stats of the Invoker they are bound to during battle. This is called their Bound Effect.

There are two types of Bound Effects:

  • Type 1: Global Bound Effects that increase an Invoker's Stats in every area of the game.

  • Type 2: Dual Bound Effects that increase an Invoker's Stats by a larger amount in a specific area, along with a lesser amount in other areas of the game. These are usually more powerful in a specific Game Mode, but weaker outside of that designated Game Mode.

In the picture above, Goros has a Dual Bound Effect.

TITAN PARAMETERS

Like Invokers, Titans have various parameters to be aware of.

FACTION

A Titan's Faction is one of their most important factors.

All Titans belong to a Faction, just like Invokers. Invokers can only use Titans from their own Faction – with one exception, Dragon Titans.

Dragons belong to a special Titan Faction; they are universal, and can be used by any Invoker from any Faction.

RARITY

Each Titan  belongs to a specific Rarity, which decides how easy or hard they are to summon from Orbs.

The rarer a Titan, the stronger they usually are:

  • Legendary Titans have far better base Stats than lower Rarity ones.

  • Legendary Titans will also usually have more powerful skills than their lower-rarity counterparts, meaning access to better buffs and debuffs, higher multipliers, and so on.

ELEMENT

Titans do not have an Element. When used in-battle, Titans inherit the Element of the Invoker they are bound to.

That means if you give a Fire Invoker a Titan and they Invoke that Titan during battle, that Titan will be Fire Element for the duration of that battle.

Tip:  This makes Titans incredibly flexible – they can be used anywhere, against any Boss, regardless of the Boss’ Element. You just need the right Invokers.

LEVEL

As you Level Up a Titan, their Stats increase. Just like Invokers, Titans also have a Level Cap – limited by their Ascension ★.

ASCENSION ★ STATUS

Below the name, you'll find a series of yellow Stars that show a Titan's Ascension level. In the screenshot above, Litria is at 4★ Ascension.

Ascending Titans increases their Level Cap, and allows you to continue to Level them up and make them stronger. Each Titan can be Ascended up to 6★ Ascension, which sets the Level Cap to Level 60 – the highest possible Level. It also allows you to further Empower your Titans.

Check out the Ascension section or dedicated Titan Ascendion Guide for a full breakdown.

EMPOWERMENT ★ STATUS

In the same place, the purple Stars also show a Titan's Empowerment Level.

In the example, Litria is at 2★ Empowerment.

Empowering a Titan improves their Bound Effect, which makes your Invokers even stronger.

Check out the Empowerment section or dedicated Titan Empowerment Guide for a full breakdown.

CLASS

The Class icon alongside Rarity tells you which Class a Titan belongs to, which decides which Stats they have.

See the Titans Stats section below for a full breakdown.

TITAN SKILLS

Like Invokers, Titans have their own set of Skills – but they also have some unique properties that Invokers don't.

COMBO ATTACK

A Titan's basic attacks. Just like Invokers, Titan Combo Attacks have no cooldown.

ACTIVE SKILLS

Each Titan has 2 Active Skills. Active Skills have cooldowns; this means that after being used in-battle, you have to wait a while before you can use them again.

INVOKATION EFFECT

Each Titan has a unique Invokation Effect, which has two parts:

  • Invokation: Whenever a Titan is Invoked in-battle, a powerful Invokation effect occurs. This is usually a huge AoE ability that affects all the enemies or allies around them.

  • Invokation End: When the Invokation ends and the Titan transforms back into their Invoker, a second powerful effect occurs. This is typically a big buff or heal to the Invoker the Titan is bound to, giving them a massive boost when they come back into the fight.

UPGRADING SKILLS

A Titan's Combo Attacks, Active Skills, and Invokation Effects can be upgraded using Prisms, which makes them stronger – typically increasing their damage or the power of their Buffs and Debuffs.

There are three types of Prisms: Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

  • Upgrading Titan Skills to higher levels requires higher Rarity Prisms.
  • You can get Prisms by completing Quests, climbing the Spires, and more – including from the Shop.

BOUND EFFECT

In addition to the Skills they use in-battle, Titans also have an special, upgradable Skill – their Bound Effect.

A Titan's Bound Effect boosts the Stats of the Invoker they are bound to for the entirety of the battle.

There are two types of Bound Effects:

  • Type 1: Global Bound Effects that increase an Invoker's Stats in every area of the game.

  • Type 2: Dual Bound Effects that increase an Invoker's Stats in two areas: by a larger amount in a specific area, along with a lesser amount in other areas of the game. These are usually more powerful in a specific Game Mode, but weaker outside of that designated Game Mode.

However, unlike other Skills, you cannot upgrade a Titan's Bound Effect with Prisms – you need to Empower Titans to upgrade their Bound Effects. See the Empowerment section for a full breakdown.

UPGRADING TITANS

LEVELING UP

Just like Invokers, you can level up Titans using XP Potions. Leveling them up increases their Stats.

  • Note: Unlike Invokers, Titans do not gain XP from battles. You must use XP Potions.

You cannot Level Up Titans indefinitely – there is a limit, a Level Cap decided by the Titan's current Ascension ★.

Once you hit that Level Cap, you must Ascend your Invoker to continue Levelling them up and making them stronger. The highest Level a Titan can reach is Level 60.

ASCENSION

In a Titan's profile, a series of yellow Stars that show the Titan's Ascension level.

In the screenshot above, Goros is at 3★ Ascension.

Ascending Titans increases their Level Cap, and allows you to continue to Level them up and make them stronger. Each Titan can be Ascended up to 6★ Ascension, which sets the Level Cap to Level 60 – the highest possible Level.

To Ascend a Titan, they must be at the Level Cap for their current Level of Ascension.

To Ascend them, you will need to use a number of Dragonsouls or other Titans of the same ★.

The number you need is always equal to the current Ascension ★.

  • For example, to take a Titan from 3★ Ascension to 4★ Ascension, you need three 3★ Titans or 3★ Dragonsouls – or a mixture of both. This is shown in the screenshot above.

  • To take a Titan from 4★ Ascension to 5★, you will need 4 Titans or Dragonsouls – all 4★.

Note: Any Titans used to Ascend another will be permanently lost.

After Ascending a Titan, they will gain an extra yellow star and their Level Cap will increase.

Different Rarities of Titans start at various levels of Ascension, as shown below:

EMPOWERMENT

Purple Stars show a Titan's Empowerment Level.

In the example above, Goros is at:

  • 1★ Empowerment (indicated by the purple star)

  • 4★ Ascension (indicated by the yellow stars)

Empowering a Titan improves their Bound Effect, which increases the Stat boost they provide to your Invokers during battle.

To Empower a Titan, you need to use Titanhearts or duplicates of the same Titan.

There are 2 types of Titanhearts:

  • Titanhearts

  • Elder Titanhearts

Both types of Titanhearts can be found by completing Quests, at the Shop, or as reward from various Game Modes.

Depending on a Titan's Rarity, you will need different types or a different number of Titanhearts.

  • Rare Titans: 1 Titanheart or 1 duplicate Titan

  • Epic Titans: 2 Titanhearts or 1 duplicate Titan

  • Legendary Titans: 1 Elder Titanheart or 1 duplicate Titan

Empowerment requirements do not change at higher Empowerment ★.

Note: Any Titans used to Empower another will be permanently lost.

After Empowering a Titan, their Bound Effect will improve.

TITAN SELECTION

AUTOMATIC SELECTION

During Team Selection before a battle, Titans will be automatically selected as you select your Invokers.

The strongest available and compatible Titan will be selected when you select an Invoker.

  • The strongest means the available Titan with the highest Power.

  • Compatible means either a Titan from the same Faction as the Invoker, or a Dragon Titan.

Important: Automatic Selection does not factor in whether a Titan's Bound Effect is the best fit for the current game mode, nor whether a Titan or Invoker is either ranged or melee.

The icons below each Invoker's icon show which Titan is currently bound to that Invoker.

MANUAL SELECTION

Open the Titans tab during Team Selection to choose which Titan is bound to which Invoker manually.

This gives you more control and allows you to select the best-fitting Titan for each Invoker: one that synergizes well their role, positioning in-battle, and so on.
