Omnissi (Astral) – the Elemental Garuda

OVERVIEW
While Omnissi shares some skills across each Element, there are also unique mechanics to overcome to master each version.
NOTE: This guide concerns on Omnissi, the Astral Garuda. You can find dedicated guides for the other Elemental Garudas below:
Keeping buffs up against Astral Omnissi is never reliable – and in fact, it can be dangerous for you.
Her Passive skill means that every single time she hits one of your Invokers, she has a 50% chance to steal a random buff. This can instantly turn a strong position on its head. That huge ATK or Crit Damage buff you just had on your team? Well, now Omnissi has them – and she suddenly became far more deadly.
She can also reduce your team’s HP quickly, through the Bleed debuff on her Combo Attack or the Atrophy Corruption on the first skill, Celestial Rage. Both debuffs decrease the recipient’s HP by a percentage of their MAX HP, which means huge damage, no matter how high your HP is in the first place.
Simple, brutal, raw damage here is often the best approach – you don’t want to hand the Garuda a bunch of powerful debuff and make her even more dangerous.
DO
✓ Bring heavy damage.
✓ Bring heals to recover from Omnissi's crazy damage output.
DON'T
✕ Rely too heavily on buffing your team.
✕ Bring buffs that you don't want Omnissi to have.
✕ Forget your healer. Astral Omnissi drops your HP fast, you'll need them.
SKILL BREAKDOWN
The Astral version of Omnissi has a unique Element that no other Invoker or enemy in the game has. When fighting against Astral Omnissi, you are always element-neutral, no matter what your actual Element is.
Even though the fight isn't easy, this does make it far easier to build your team for the fight – no Invoker is off-limits.
Each version of Omnissi shares most of their Skills, but they do have a few key differences and unique skills.
Each version of Omnissi has:
A unique Combo Attack #1
A unique Skill 1
A unique Passive Skill
These are the main differences that you need to know to help build your team to counter each version – the rest of the Skills are identical across every Element, aside from the Corruptions, which change for each one.
We'll start off by going over the three unique Skills that define the fight.
Star Thief [Passive]
Omnissi has a 50% chance to steal a random buff from the target with every attack.
TIP #1: This is the biggest defining factor in this fight. Astral Omnissi has a huge 50% chance to steal one of your Invokers’ buffs every time she attacks – and she attacks often. Even if she fails once, she's pretty much going to steal whatever buffs you're using. Imagine how powerful your team becomes when fully buffed up – now imagine giving those buffs to Omnissi, multiplying her power.
TIP #2: Think of the numbers. This is terrifying even with a single Invoker that has a powerful buff – but AoE buffs give her a 50% chance to steal a deadly buff… from every single member of your team. Odds are she's getting it, no matter what you try to do.
TIP #3: Having high RES helps here. Early game, it's unlikely you'll have good enough Relics to consistently hold onto your buffs. But at higher Stages, the balance switches – and you'll want to max out your Resistance.
Combo Attack #1
Attacks 1 enemy, dealing N damage. Casts a [1% Bleed] debuff on the target, lasting 4s. The Bleed debuff ticks 1 time every 2s.
TIP #1: The deadly part here comes from two factors. One, it's MAX HP damage, so it doesn't matter how high your HP is – it's going to drop, fast. Two, she's going to use this Skill often throughout the fight. If you don't have a way to recover HP during the fight, you're going to be in trouble.
Skill 1 – Celestial Rage
Targets 3 random enemies in a 30m radius, tracking them for 1.9s. Then, creates a 4m radius AoE zone around the targets, dealing N damage to all enemies in the area.
Each hit casts 1 stack of Atrophy Corruption on each target. The Atrophy Corruption ticks 1 time every 10s. Each tick damages the target by 0.5% of their MAX HP. Each stack of Atrophy Corruption decreases the target's RES by 1%.
TIP #1: This is simple – but it's a huge dose of Atrophy Corruption for basically your whole team, and there's not much you can do about it; you can't avoid the initial hit. You can spread out to minimize the AoE damage around each initial target, but even then, you're going to suffer due to the Atrophy. Make sure you address the Corruption by either bringing Invokers with Atrophy Tolerance, along with a way to recover your HP.
TIP #2: Regeneration buffs are almost always a great way to recover HP, but not against Astral Omnissi. She's going to steal those Regen buffs and heal herself instead. And because Regen is a MAX HP heal, that's a very, very bad idea.
Combo Attack #2
Attacks all enemies in the arena, dealing N damage per hit.
Combo Attack #3
Attacks 1 enemy, dealing N damage.
Combo Attack #4
Attacks all enemies in a 5m radius, dealing N damage per hit.
Skill 2 – Astral Waves
Divides the arena into 3 zones, then creates Astral Waves that fill the zones one by one, in random order.
Each Wave takes 2.9s to charge, dealing N damage to all enemies in the area.
Each hit casts Crush Corruption on each target, lasting 15s. Targets under Crush Corruption take 100% more damage.
Each hit casts 1 stack of Atrophy Corruption on each target. The Atrophy Corruption ticks 1 time every 10s. Each tick damages the target by 0.5% of their MAX HP. Each stack of Atrophy Corruption decreases the target's RES by 1%.
TIP #1: Move. This Skill is scary, but thankfully you are able to avoid it and get out of the way. If you get hit, not only do you take insane damage, but you also end up on the wrong end of a long-lasting stun from Crush Corruption.
TIP #2: Use the Group Up button to huddle your team together and ensure they get out of the way. Relying on your team's Instinct here is never going to be as reliable as doing it yourself.
Skill 3 – Cosmic Dive
Dives through an 8x20m path, towards the furthest enemy in a 15m radius, damaging each enemy hit, dealing N damage per hit. Launches each target in the air for Ns, launching them Nm away.
TIP #1: Once again, get out of the way. This is a long-lasting launch that pushes you backwards, along with some serious damage. The saving grace is that you can actually avoid it entirely – if you're on your toes.
Skill 4 – Astral Rain
Casts a [Shield] buff on Omnissi, equal to 30% of her MAX HP, lasting 10s.
Then, Omnissi channels. While channeling, continuously hails Astral Rain, attacking all enemies in the arena, dealing N damage per hit. Astral Rain will fall on each enemy 3 times every 2s.
Channeling will be interrupted when Omnissi loses 10% of her MAX HP.
TIP #1: Unleash everything you have to stop the Skill as soon as possible. Here, Omnissi will continue to channel until one of two things happens: either your whole team dies, or you manage to deal enough damage to her. This is a pretty hard damage-check for your team – if you don't have enough DPS to shut this down quickly, you're done.
CORRUPTIONS
The Astral version of Omnissi has two Corruptions: one Damage Corruption (Atrophy), and one Control Corruption (Crush).
Each of Astral Omnissi's attacks will deal extra damage as Atrophy Damage, which is not decreased by your Invokers’ DEF Stat.
DAMAGE CORRUPTION – ATROPHY

Atrophy Corruption
Each stack of Atrophy damages the target by a percentage of their MAX HP every tick. Each stack also decreases the target's RES. Infinite duration.
Atrophy Tolerance
Atrophy Corruption is a damage-over-time effect that damages the recipient by a percentage of their MAX HP every tick. It also decreases the target's RES by a certain percentage. Atrophy Corruption has an infinite duration and cannot be removed. Atrophy Corruption stacks additively, so each stack of Atrophy directly increases the damage per tick along with the RES reduction.
Bosses with Atrophy Corruption also deal direct Atrophy damage from their Skills, in addition to their regular damage. Direct Atrophy damage ignores the target's DEF stat, and can only be decreased by the target's Atrophy Tolerance.
Increasing an Invoker's Atrophy Tolerance will decrease all Atrophy damage by the Invoker's Tolerance percentage, along with decreasing the effects of the RES reduction.
CONTROL CORRUPTION – CRUSH

Crush Corruption
Stuns the target, making them unable to move or use Skills. Increases all damage taken by +100%.
Crush Tolerance
Not only does Crush Corruption stun the target, taking them out of the battle for a long time, but it also causes the target to take double damage, from all sources of damage - whether that's a direct hit from a Boss, or damage from a Burn or other debuff.
Increasing an Invoker's Crush Tolerance decreases the duration of Crush Corruption and its effects by the Tolerance percentage, reducing the time you are stunned and take double damage. Increasing Crush Tolerance will significantly reduce the amount of damage an Invoker takes throughout a battle with a Boss with Crush Corruption.
